Fresh Easter Powder

Dad goes, "let's pretend like Vida is here with us," nuff said, we threw our peace signs up, had our photo taken and had a good giggle... Vida we miss you!

Doesn't matter how many years go by, or how old we get, inevitably, papa Fredricks and I get up to our usual tricks... We race down the hill at warp speed, push each other over in the lift lines, throw snowballs at random and without fail manage to over eat and spend one night on the infamous leather couch.

Hat, Gloves, Goggles... Check!

It was somewhere between winter and perfect spring conditions—with three solid days of fresh snow, long runs and Heavenly Hot Chocolates (CV, you know what I'm talking about...) one really can't complain.

Granted there were one or two episodes I could've done without... I still maintain it was the veggie burger that made me sick but, in all fairness, the basket of onion rings and side caesar salad may have thrown me over the edge. To make matters worse, that very same day, I decided on simple greens for dinner so as not to over do, my already over worked tummy. Cue the swelling of my face... really, WHO puts Sesame Seeds in salad?? FAIL.

But like I said, the sun was shining, the slopes were running fast and I couldn't help but Smile.

P.S. Vida, I regret to inform you papa Fredricks was cheating on you this afternoon on the way back from Kelowna... Her name is Catherine, she shared her mini grape flavoured easter eggs, wore he hair in perfect pig tails and carried a Dora the Explorer carry-on suitcase. It's hard to compete, I know. You're still my numba 1, love you long time. xx
